Notes under the stars
An evening dedicated to the 20th century, a century of rebirth for plucked instruments. The harp, which despite everything had managed to carve out a space for itself in the orchestra, received gems such as Debussy’s Danses and Ravel’s Introduction et Allegro, and the mandolin returned to be in the pen of great composers such Mahler, Respighi and Schoenberg.
The KhromaDuo, formed by mandolinist Eugenio Palumbo and harpist Anna Pilleroni, since 2020 has been forced to rediscover the repertoire for mandolin and arp, in any case constantly looking for opportunities to commission new original pieces for their instruments.
